Clarine Laferriere, daughter of Joseph Aurez Dit Laferriere and Annie Boisvert. Born 1898 St. Flore, Quebec, Canada, died Dec 1984 Rehoboth, Ma, 85 or 86 years Clarine and Emma worked for Van Decarr, owner of a paper mill inMontreal. He owned the Laurentide Inn where both girls worked. In 1920Albertine also came to work in the inn. Emma returned home and in 1921Clarine and Albertine went to work in Grandmere (Grandmere and Ste Floreare now incorporated). In 1922, Emma and Albertine went to work in NewBedford, MA and lived with their brother Adam. The two girls moved topawtucket, R.I. where they worked in J.P. coates and lived with theirsister Clarine, and Emma married there in 1925. Albertine returned toValcourt where she went to work for Charlie Slack. The Slack brothersowned a canning plant and they shipped canned mushrooms, rhubarb, etc.all over Canada and the northern United States. Albertine was thebabysitter for the Slack children and also did housekeeping.
