Family however, claims he was born in the US. !EMMIGRATION-NATURALIZATION: 1890, according to the 1920 census, which showed Louis to be living at 648 First Ave, in Berlin, NH !COMMENT: His first three children were born in Biddeford in ME. Went to work in the paper mill after the WWI in Gorham and settled in Berlin, NH, and that's where Robert and Pauline were born. The 1920 Census showed this family living at 648 First Ave, in Berlin, NH. Louis-33 yrs, Florenda-27 yrs, Paula-6 yrs, Romeo-5 yrs, Robert-6 mo. Louis left the family and dissapeared sometime in the 1920's. He was with the family as late as 1925, but may have left in 1926 or 1927. He was familiar with Boston area since he grew up there, and reportedly was living in MA somewhere. !DEATH: Probably somewhere in CT.
