but later returned to Port Royal, Acadia. He recieved a land grant fromGov.
d'Aulnay. He was a surgeon or barber.

married at Port Royal, Acadia to Jeanne Trahan. He arrived in Acadia onthe
ship "Aulnay" in 1642, having the rank of Military Doctor. The later wasthe
founder of Beaubassin.
