He was from St-Michel de Berzy-le-Sec, ar. et ev. Soissons, Picardie (nowin
Aisne), France. He was said to be 80 years old at his death. He was thenephew
of Anne Convent who married Philippe Amiot. He answered that he was 33 atthe
1667 recording and in Lauzon, and 43 in 1681 living in Cap St-claude inthe
area on Beaumont. He was cited as being in Quebec on 16 JUL 1663.
