He answered that he was 32 in 1681, at Quebec, and arrived 18 AUG 1665,as a
soldier in the company of Grand Fontaine in the Carignan Regiment. He wasan
attorny for Prevote of Quebec from 16 AUG 1676 to 30 APR 1681, and servedon
the Souvergn Council. He later returned to France. He participated in the
construction of Fort Ste-Therese, on the Richelieu River. He spent thewinter
of 1665/6 in Quebec. Shortly after his discharge, he married.
He bought a farm in Charlesbourg, but not being a country-dweller, hesold it
and moved to the city of Quebec. He and hiswife had 7 children. He becamethe
King's solicitor in the Provostship of Quebec from 1676 to 1681 when hewas
deprived of his status by the Sovereign Council. He was restored byFrontenac
from 1684 to 1686 when, on 4 June, he was again deprived by the King.Bolduc
returned to France in 1686 to join his wife who had gone on a yearearlier. He
died in Paris between February 8, 1700, and 7 November, 1701. His children
remianed in Canada, and never saw their father again. His wife returned to
Canada after the death of Louis, and died there at about the age of 50years
at St-Joachim sometime befre 7 NOV 1701.

Born 1648, died at Quebec in 1672. Settled in Quebec in 1676. He wasadjutant
for M. de Lotbiniere, and became prosecutor for the Kingl Louis signedhis name
"Baulduc".
