des Familles Quebec", 1983, Page 829. He was of Javrezac, ar. Cognac, ev.
Saintes, Saintonge (now Charente) France. He was 71 years old at the timehe
died. He answered that he was 22 at the 1666 recording at St-Jean and
St-Francois of Quebec, working as a domestic servant for Jean Chenier. Hewas
24 in 1667, in Cap-de-la-Madeleine; 41 answered in 1681, at Batiscan. Hewas
confirmed 1 May 1662 at Quebec. He lived in Batiscan in 1667. Hismarriage was
recorded with notary in either Cap-de-la-Madeleine or Batiscan.

"Dictionnaire Genealogique des Familles Quebec", 1983, page 830.
He was a voyager/trader, who died on a mission to trade or treaty to the
West, in 1707 or 1708. He engaged West on 11 Sep. 1693 or 30 May 1705. His
marriage contract was recorded with notary Trottain on 4 Feb 1700 atBatiscan.
Rene Jette, Page 829 states that he was 9 years old in 1681.
