He was a tonnelier (tanner) from St-Jean, Joigny, archev. Sens, Bourgogne(now
Yonne), France. His marriage contract was signed by Notary LeConte atQuebec on
6 Sep. 1668. In 1681 he was a "tonnelier" in Batiscan. He arrived in1665, a
soldier in the Froment Company of the Carignan Regiment. He wasassassinated by
Julien Talua in 1684. He was a master Coopersmith.

was at Mont-Louis, and was a Master Engraver. He establihed himself in
Kamouraska in 1696 or 1697. He was a lieutenant of the Militia ofKamouraska in
March of 1721. He was a carpenter, joiner and barrelmaker at differenttimes in
his life. He filed contract to marry with notary Gilles Rageot on 29 Jan1691.
