He was a wagon maker. He was from St-Etienne de Brie-Comte-Robert, Melun,Brie
(now Siene-et-Marne) district. He answered that he was 57 at the rec. of1666
and 58 in 1667 and living on the Hill of Ste-Genevieve de Quebec. Hereceived
land 15 NOV 1653, Made Lord of St-Luc the Riviere-du-Sud on 15 NOV 1663,by
the Governor of Lauzon. He was only 16 years old when he left France. His
eldest son, became the first Canadian priest. Their daughter Marie, thefirst
Canadian nun. MArriage appears in Jette on page 562.
